Transformers Movie.

Post by Dr. kitteny berk »

I just watched this.

Only one major thought overall: WHY THE FUCKING PRODUCT PLACEMENT?

Seriously, HP, Panasonic, ebay, paypal, burger king, xm satellite radio, Camaro, Cadillac, GM, Apple, Pepto-Bismol, (possibly also taco bell, nokia, energiser, logitech, mountain dew. but those were a little too subtle to count.)

I mean, what the fuck, how much money were they trying to make off this movie?

Also the sounds are utterly shit, nothing sounds nearly as heavy or metallic as it should.

Beyond that, was a fun movie, not great, not awful, mostly trash.

Meh, it was okay. The sound issues might have happened as your copy fell on to the floor.

Also, you forgot the xbox 360 (also subtle).

Sound quality seemed ok for everything else though, might have just been totally lacking bass, I dunno.

And I didn't see the xbox 360, no identifying marks (like an RROD)

nah, I didn't have a problem with any of that. My problem was NOT ENOUGH ROBOT ACTION. There was like 5 minutes at the start, 5 minutes 15 minutes later, then like the last 20 minutes of the movie. It's frickin' Transformers I WANT MORE ROBOT VIOLENCE.

The 80s animated movie was definitely better.

The xbox 360 was kinda hard to spot, as it was a boxed one that transformed. It's in the same scene as the transforming Mountain Dew machine(!) and it transforms as a guy is carrying it. Kinda stupid if you ask me. I take my giant transforming fighting robots seriously.

robots were cool...the humans sucked :bored:

GM spent alot of money being the only car manufacturer in this movie...and its gonna pay off with the new camaro which will be selling faster than then can make them...

I did see all the product placement...
It was a great movie though. Quite cheezy at times but I think it gets away with it.

Not seen this yet, but regarding obvious product placement, Casino Royale was a fucking nightmare for that. I do find it REALLY detracts from the film. "Nice watch, Rolex?" "No, Omega"

FUCK OFF!
