No! I need to get some better cooling before I overclock it. I turned the FSB up a bit but that's all.

2 x 512MB PC3200 RAM
<a href="http://www.xfxforce.com/web/product/lis ... eriesId=48" target="_blank">XFX GeForce FX 5200 256 AGP</a>
Sound Blaster Audigy
160GB HDD
30GB HDD
DVD ROM
CD R/W
<a href="http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Tagan.html" target="_blank">Tagan I-XEYE 420W PSU</a>
<a href="http://www.thermaltake.com/xaserCase/sh ... silver.htm" target="_blank">Thermaltake Shark case</a>
<a href="http://www.alteclansing.com/product_det ... ry_code=gb" target="_blank">Altec Lansing 2100 Speakers</a>
<a href="http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cat ... L8794.html" target="_blank">Speedlink Medusa 5.1 Headphones</a>
<a href="http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/ ... rs_66.html" target="_blank">Hyundai 19" CRT Monitor</a>

<a href="http://www.toyvault.com/cthulhu/nyarlethotep.html" target="_blank">Cuddly Nyarlathotep</a>

Clearly I need a new graphics card, so it it worth me upgrading to a PCI-E setup and getting an Athlon 64 too?

Think I saw that. Every PC component was attached to some cooling? There was frost on his mobo!

Shows what he knows then; microchips also have a minimum operating temperature (after some quick research, around -10 to +10 degrees for a Northbridge).

Intel Xeon 2.8GHz
2GB PC2100 DDR RAM
37GB SCSI & 200GB IDE
Acer 19" LCD

BENQ 19" LCD

I'm about a week away from sticking another Intel Xeon 2.8GHz into my system, but I'm wondering what Operating System to load, as I want to get the most out of my dual processors.

Also, what's the best utility out there for overclocking my processor/s???
I believe Overclockers.co.uk have a utility you can use, but I can;t find it anywhere :?

I'd have a look in your bios for overclocking, when youre booting up it usually says something like press del to enter setup. Look out for the FSB speed and thats the bit you want to increase, the CPU frequency is FSB x multiplier.

ooooooo, SCSI....

to harness the power of dual processors, I recommend Win XP Pro. Win2000 will work too. or Linux. But I recommend XP Pro.

I already have XP Pro with SP2 :D

Out of interest can you run the 64 Bit version even though I'm only running 32-Bit processors?

I don't think so. I'd just stick with regular ol' Win XP.

Nope. Only 64 Bit CPUS can run 64 bit verison of Windows.

Even then, I wouldn't run it. It's awful at running 32 bit Apps. Apparently, It can't even run Windows Media Player.

Just upgraded to 2x512mb pc3200, i did leave my old ram in aswell at first until i realised it was actually slower since it would only let 4 sticks run at pc2700. All my games run stutter free now :D
