A full-priced FPS, which is supposedly only as good as a £20 3-5-year-old gameTezzRexx wrote:Burn

After a quick scan this Transformers game looks mediocre at best. If you want to play a Transformers game play this one: http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=55753
I enjoyed it a lot, it's oldschool (none of this Bay updated nonsense) and good fun. You'll need a PS2 though.

GAH! i played MW2 so many times, i learnt the mech chassis of by heart. and then the series went to those inner sphere dogs, and they had their own designations.Killavodka wrote: Thor ftw
Mission info says watch out for the daishi's.
Oh, says i, whats one of those?
Ah, says I, that'll be a funny name for a dire-wolf. and i'm in my Kit-fox. this could be interesting:
WARNING! Critical Hit!
Warning! Weapon Destroyed!
Warning! Core temperature Critical!
Warning! emergency Shut down in progress!
Shutdown Overridden
Warning! Ammunition Explosion detected!
Ah, borrocks......
I'm gonna have to dig my old discs out now, this has got me quite nostalgic..........

I've d/l'd mek paks for mercs, it has about 50 more mech chassis, and elemental battle suits, plus pretty much every weapon going, except the bombast laser for some reason. It does posess a weapon that makes er ppc's look weak, the continuous laser, you hold fire, it strips away even heavy armour, then you overheat, in about the same time it took you to read that, you've killed a daishi/warlord and then shut down. I wish they hadn't cancelled mechwarrior 5, fucking microsoft cunts.

True, but they never had the same depth, (I know this is geeky, but I don't care) I can spend hours testing loadouts on mech's to achieve maximum armour to firepower to heat to speed ratio's.eion wrote: Well, the MechAssault games were fun, in their own way. It's just a shame that neither of them were ported to the PC.
Anham, its even cheaper to sweep them...
