Just got cunted up the fuck by some virus doohicky. I hope my virus thingamy caught it in time. Fuck knows how it got there, or what it's done. But it's gone now. Might be worth checking your copy too if you have one, just in case.

Alternatively it's bollox and AVG just thinks it's a virus. Cunts.

Just reinstalled the game. AVG flags the Patch 1.3 version of that file as a virus. It's not. It's only just started doing it with the latest update of AVG though.

While AVG is shite, i'd suggest trying another AV just to be safe (unless you have the false positive confirmed)

Nailed it down. The Patch 1.0003 that's in 5punky downloads has a virus on it - might want to get rid. I downloaded a new patch off gamespot and it's running fine.

Also found a couple of nifty mods at the same time: specifically one that allows you to repair weapons and armour at any trader. Very funky. And the latest Float32 mod is mighty shiny.

The scanner on my work machine passes the file okay but I've removed it anyway and will double-check it on my proper scanner at home.
