Have a look in Device Manager under display adapters, and it should say the make and model of the card.

graphics card sucks, great for low end/2D stuff, below average for gaming.

i'd suggest an ATI 9600pro (128mb ram) as your best option

Yeah, that's probably where the problem lies.

I think there's an offer over at http://www.overclockers.co.uk for 9800 Pros now, pretty cheap I hear.

I'm right there with you. I'm mostly managing by sitting down somewhere near my mum and constantly sighing.

Downloading the demo at home while i'm at work, will give it a go tonight.

Although i fear there isn't much chance it'll run on my Graphics card (Matrox Parhelia 256mb) as it isn't offically a DX9 card, will try some beta DX9 drivers but i'm not too hopeful :(

[conti'd from the other thread]

hrmph.

Leadtek GeForce 6200 128MB DDR TV-Out/DVI (AGP) - Retail (GX-063-LT)

or

HIS Excalibur ATI Radeon 9550 256MB DDR TV-Out/DVI (AGP) - Retail (R9550-TDW256-C) (GX-010-HT)

?

Both about £40 at overclockers. Which I might be prepared to spend. And not buy Juiced.

yet

Id go with the HIS because of it's cooling, thus making it far more overclockable
