Half life 2: Episode 1

Decided to treat myself to this seeing as it was only a fiver over steam. But it keeps crashing all the way through it, not BSOD but just halting. Has anyone else had this problem? its got a 98% download on my steam account so i don't know if this has anything to do with it.

delete clientregistry.blob that usually has some kind of effect on Steam when it isn't working properly.

I'll give it a go, cheers. All my other steam games are working just not EP1
