Friday CO-OP Games.

Post by Dr. kitteny berk »

Well, we've not had any drunken friday coop joy in a while.

So, do you cunts fancy any SAWT4/Raven Shield/Joint ops?

I'd say yes, but I don't get in until late on Fridays, and I have zero of these games installed, although I do have patches locally.

Of the three I'd say Jops, as even though nobody seems to know what's going on, it has rickshaws - but I'd like to try the others sometime, too - as I never got the chance the first time around.

The joy of the proper old friday games (namely swat4, and to a point rvs) Was that they'd run from whenever whatever friday games died, until stupid-o-clock.

As such, they worked out nicely as everyone was bollocked and had nothing better to do

I've got RS and SWAT ready to be installed, but it might be a late start for me - around 10ish depending on when my mate leaves tonight. I'd much rather play either of SWAT or RS as they're a fairly different type of game to those we normally play, whereas JOps is a bit more of the same in my opinion. If you haven't tried either of them, I'd say give them a go. They certainly hold my interest far longer than JOps, but that may be because I've played far too many Novalogic games in my pre-5punk days.

I never really gave SWAT a proper go, I think the controls confused me too much while drunk, might try again, although I really enjoyed the Joint Ops games we did

Plan for now:

SWAT this week, as it was on the floor.
Raven Shield next week (probably) as it should be fairly easy to sweep.
JOPS week after, as i have to upload it, which'll take a day or two.

Aah, JOPS, I got it downloaded it, played it for approximately 10 minutes with 5punkers and my computer fluxxored hard. When I had fixed it two weeks later I woke to the end of the JOPS fad.

Bollocks.

I won't post the one I found, and I don't know if it works or not but poke me if you want it. AVG does not detect any nasty viruses.
