Dres Housage Update

Post by centerededgedesign »

Ugh, moving sucks!

We've spent the last couple nights in the new house, still ALOT of unpacking to do, but we did get my son a bed bought yesterday. With all the stuff left to do, and the lack of an internet connection at home, (gotta wait to see what all the bills are going to be like before committing to a cable contract), may see me inactive in Eve except for a random skill check before/after work. :( Boo Hiss

Here's to hoping the war works out to our favor!

/me bums

p.s. anybody have a sure-fire way to get dog urine out of concrete without resorting to a jackhammer? Bleach just isn't doing it...

If it's soaked in then no. I'd just get some garage floor paint and paint over it. Assuming it is your garage you are talking about.

We expect pictures of the new pad soon. 8)

The only thing that will do it is something with enzymes in it - so if you can soak the effected area with bilogical detergent it should help. If it's really soaked in though it's there for good and all the neighbourhood dogs will use it as the local public toilet.

Drink a load of beer and piss on it yourself. Won't get rid of it, but at least it'll be your own handiwork.

I actually found a product that got rid of 90% of the smell, so I'm going to apply it a couple more times, then paint over it. Then rinse and repeat in the utility room where I'm beginning to believe the poor abused doggy met it's end. :( Tis truly sad the amount of dog hair I've cleaned out from under things, I could built my own pooch with the piles of stuff I had.

All moved in and cozy now though, working out if we're going to add internet to our bills before we get the whole budget balanced and stuff. Blowing up spaceships and being able to be on vent w/o MIL wanderding in to see who I'm talking to is very tempting, but getting behind on bills is a danger that lurks in the dark corners of RL, and must be avoided at ALL costs.

And cooking my own food is SOOOO ftw! I've had hot food that is actually hot every night for the last week. Fully cooked for uber bonus-ish-ness!
