Then the other program is lying to you in order to get you to give them money. That's not uncommon.

If you Right-Click on the taskbar, there's a menu option for Task Manager. I find it faster than using CTRL+ALT+DEL and then hitting another button.

But slower than Ctrl+Shift+Esc.

Surely it's easier than Ctrl+Alt+Del, which requires two hands?
/refuses to use AltGr because of security reasons and horse of habit

I hardly ever use the three finger salute these days. I just right-click --> Task Manager.
Still, I find CTRL+ALT+DEL to be easier on my hands because it takes two hands rather than contorting my hand to hit CTRL+SHIFT+ESC. CTRL+SHIFT+ESC is just uncomfortable for me.

Personally I find using the keyboard easier than moving the mouse around down to the taskbar.

I often only have one hand available though, if I'm doing something else.

Try CTRL+A+DEL. That's my favourite.

Just discovered that Alt Gr + Number keys jumps to the relevant tab in Firefox.

For some reason Linux Firefox does that with regular Alt, which is really annoying on b3ta, where I use Alt+1/2/3 for navigating the boards.
