hurrah! And....hmmm...extra time and money, that sounds like a plan...

/plots

as to the corp thing, sounds good, but will ethnic lvl 4 be enough to cope with the ludicrously multicultural 5punk team?

Worth checking first :)

if not, i have ethnic relations 4 too, and it'll take me a mere 10 days  to get to lvl 5.

oooh, just need indy 5 then im set for that! woo!

Also, i now have ethnic relations 5, so im happy to set up the official 5punk corp, but need to know a few things first:

ticker name? im guessing [5punk], any objections?
corp name? 5punkorp? any other suggestions?
logo? pretty limeted on this one, as it has to be made from pre made thingies in game. But i had a play around earlier, how about a giant redex?
base of operations? i was going to set up in fru, just cos thats where i am, but im happy to move if needed. Ive got a great big hauler, so moving stuff about wont be a problem.

shall i go ahead with it, or not?

decisions, decisions....

5punkorp are go!

Post by Joose »

Ok folks, we are ready to rock and roll!

To join up with 5punkorp, simply head to frulegur, dock at Kaalakiota corp factory, moon 3. Find 5punkorp in the offices list on the right, and hit join corp!

should be fairly self explanitory from there on, but having never done it myself, i wouldnt know.

Ive set up the corporation hangers with divisions, one for Ore, minerals, blueprints, and loot. These are free for all divisions, stuff put in there is for the good of the Corporation, and feel freeto take what you need. Dont go mad though, as there wont be anything for anyone elsee then. As long as everyone is fairly sensible, this should work, if it doesnt, we will have to think of a better system.

Also in the corporate hangar is the Project 5punkinator hangar. Stick any donations in there. Anything you want paying for, stick it in there, make a note of what it was, and eve mail me the numbers. Ill pay you the next time i log in.

We will worry about things like different roles within the corp after people have joined up.

finally: Hurrah!

Also, do i keep my original character i had during my trial, and will i still be in Fru if thats the last place i was when i logged off?

prepare yourself for a deluge of n00b questions that will probably results in me being gunned down by frustated 5punkers...

tis very quick, if i rememeber correctly. If, that is, you mean the time between giving em credit card details and actually playing. Very quick.

If you mean "how long will it take to download the patches" depends on how borken the servers are. They were a wee bit fudged yesterday, due to the load. Although, there is a bittorrent of the patch too, which is nice.

yes, and yes. Nice and simple :D

I think the extra activity Exodus has brought has messed things up a bit.. I tried updating my skills yesterday, only I didn't have any. and then there weren't even any tabs in my Character Sheet.

It's fine now though. oddness.
