New Things: Paleo Take Wraps Off Merchants of Brooklyn

ImageCaveman HL2 mod-makers Paleo Entertainment (Paleolithic Revolution) are expanding their operations, announcing they've started work on an FPS called Merchants of Brooklyn. Sticking with the Neanderthal theme, MoB is set in Brooklyn in the year 3100, where Neanderthals are the dominant species and...they have their own mafia. Or mob, if you will.

It's still early days, so there's not too much more info, but Paleo have let Gamasutra know that they've picked up Crytek's very new, very fancy, very shiny CryENGINE 2 to run the thing on. Looking at the concept art above, and employing just a pinch of imagination, I'm seeing a less graphic, more cuddly Kingpin.

I see an excuse for a lot of very similar-looking enemies.
