Ive only had a quick blast on it, and have to admit to being confused beyond measure. I shall endevour to try harder next time :D

I had a go, but it kept crashing on me when I joined a server?

I've applied the patch, but it makes no difference.

Think I might reinstall it again later on, and give it another go.

I think stoat mentioned something about that happening to him, too. Oddness.

All seems to work for me. I just dont know what im doing

Just tried it again, and it all works fine, up until the point where I choose what side I want to be on by pressing L, and then the thing crashes

Mine never got further than loading a level.
It'd say Connecting... on the side, and then 'Downloading File..' or something.. but just sit on 0kb.

The downloading file problem might stem from a map (or mod crap) that you don't have that the server is running, and for some reason the file isn't going. I've run into that a few times actually.

As for the crashing problem, I don't know about that one...

I'v been playing it for months now . . . . no promblem atm sep't Slow DL rates off servers and you av to wait ages for the files

1 time I dl'ed the file and it didn't work so I had top join and DL it again!
