Possibly the best outcome narf. I imagine 'piloting' a carrier at work has its risks.

Lucky for me, i decided to come back to base, rather than go to the 'rents this weekend it would seem.

I'll try and do some Movements in a bit.

Not gonna name names (yet), but there's people online and making no effort to join in. Not impressed. A Call to Arms is compulsory.

I wanted to help with this but in the end I wasn't able to get my ship out there.

Since no one was giving any firm times for the ship moving op I was forced to sit there for about 3 hours waiting for something to happen until I finally gave up at around 9.

By the looks of the hobos forum an eve mail was sent at half 10 saying the op would be starting soon which was too late for me anyway, I'd already said I wanted to watch stuff on TV by that time.

Yep, too bad Lee, thanks for trying though. It's very difficult to give an exact time when alot depends on what the enemy is up to - hence the FC could do no better than 'we will try soon™'. Last night UCE, Sylph, CVA and IAC were around Catch/Prov, and Lonestar Corp had a very big camp in G-5 (Jaeger found that out the hard way) so in the end we had to move down first thing this morning (0800 eve time). The info was posted on the Alliance forum and in evemail but not until pretty late. But hey, that's Eve for you.

UCE, Sylph and CVA were more concerned with finishing off a U'K POS in IS-R and so left us pretty alone. We've just finished repping the POS and are now continuuing to bash the small UCE POS in CB4 that we started on yesterday. Hopefully they'll bite and we'll get some pew pew soon :)

Also, a really good turn out this morning given the time and day: we had 6 5punkers at peak, making up nearly half the gang. Good stuff!

Damn that was fun. Sylph, UCE and a few mates came with a fleet of 60 to put our POS back into reinforced this afternoon. We sat off the gate and sniped a few as they came in, and quickly realised they didn't have the range to shoot back at all. Thus commenced Op Fish In A Barrel, as we warped around popping them as fast as we could while they sat pounding the POS. Sadly we lost wabbit's dictor to a desynch issue early on, so we struggled to lock them down, otherwise we'd have killed many more. A similar issue very nearly cost us a chimera, but managed to jump out at 12% structure :faint:

But all in all it was one of the best fights we've had for a while. Total of 18 kills and only 3 combat losses (2 of which were afk at the time).

We had a really good turnout from 5punkorp with 6 at our peak, making up nearly half the gang at one point. Big thanks to all those who made it, bad luck to those who couldn't but luckily for us, we know when they'll be coming back!

Next op: Monday 2 July 1800 Eve Time in CB4. Get your stuff sorted on Sunday night and down to CB4 if you've got to work on Monday.

Some one was saying (lilan i think, so take some salt with it) That missiles fired at you BEFORE you enter the sheild, can still get you. so if you were to approach the tower, and then stop dead, you get splated

Reminder:

Monday 2 July 1800 Eve Time in CB4

If you havn't got a ship there already, try and get one down straight after DT because there won't be much time after work. We might be able to run some down at around 1500 Hrs depending on the situation but it's highly unlikely. Worst case you might be able to put an EW cruiser on board Ehrine's carrier if you ask nicely.

Max turn out again would be appreciated. We had a fantastic 5punky showing last time, let's see if we can top it!

See the Alliance forum for details:
Our pos comes out of reinforced on 18.00h eve time on Monday, so we get another chance to kill uce and sylph when they engage it then.

Since we only got 5 carriers available, the frontlining of carriers WILL NOT happen , so Id like everybody except Ehrine not to be in their carrier but in their BS/Dictor/support for this op again.

Dont expect to be able to move anything heavy like a BS directly before the op, so if you cant be online several hours before the op (say at around 15.00h et) try to move your ship this evening/night and log of in CB4.

(If you stored your BS in the CB4 pos you can move whenever using a cheap fast frig.)

Bring a lot of ammo, we will need it

PS: Reserve dictors will be provided from Ehrines carrier and we plan on setting up another pos before the op takes place to safespot in as well

I logged out on Saturday in my Megathron inside the CB4 POS. If I can't make it for tonight's op what will happen to the ship:

1. If the POS is popped
2. If the POS is popped and UCE put up their own POS in its place.

I will try to make it tonight but if I can I am likely to be late and not around for all that long. :(
