Just incase anyone sees this and registers a name they wouldn't want to be known as ingame: I'm not sure you can actually change your name to anything you want. It just resets back to your account name if you change it and some one on the QW forums said that account name = ingame name.

This does seem to be the case, though the name changing box allows you to make your name (and clan tag) pretty.

^1 = Red
^2 = Green
^3 = Yellow
^4 = Blue
^5 = Cyan
^6 = Magenta
^7 = White
^0 = Black

Xfire for CAEK Wars

Code: Select all

[50722135]
LongName=Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (Beta)
ShortName=ETQWbeta
LauncherDirKey=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Id\ETQW Beta\InstallPath
LauncherExe=etqw.exe
Launch=%UA_LAUNCHER_EXE_PATH% %UA_LAUNCHER_EXTRA_ARGS% %UA_LAUNCHER_NETWORK_ARGS% %UA_LAUNCHER_PASSWORD_ARGS%
InGameRenderer=OGL
InGameOGLTextureOffset=32000
Stick that in your Xfire_games.ini

Likely not perfect, but does make xfire in-game work.
