The only way I could get it below 10k was to limit it to about 4 frames and it looked crap, so I quickly did this instead.

Aw shucks

It's not difficult to do; I converted a clip off t'internet to AVI using EO Video and then edited the frames (added lightning and colourised) using Imageready. The hardest part is getting the file size down. The interlace lines cut it by about half.

i'm not sure, but a google search came up with:
"Bowser has been known by different names over the years, which have since amalgamated into his current title. In Japan, he has always been known as simply Koopa. When Super Mario Bros. came out in the US, he was given the more American name of Bowser, King of the Koopas."
and on the NES maro bros i have he was called koopa i'm sure
