Very first impressions:

Feels like BEEF speed/control etc wise.

Looks pretty as hell.

How does it work with pre-registered names? are they unavailable or is it a different registration system?

You can't finish registering your booked name (as it needs a retail cd key), I didn't try to use the one i selected to avoid fuckups.

Had a little play against some people now (couldn't get onto a proper live server, all were either full, or too empty to start)

However, the game should feel very familiar for BEEF players, It's not exactly the same, but it feels very close (It feels more like BEEF than 2142 feels like BEEF)

The weapons I've played with feel right, certainly less realistic than BEEF and the like, but fit the the game well.

Only thing I've not managed to find out about yet is how it actually plays on a busy server

Other thing of note: It appears that the game has the whole ranked server thing going on, not bothered to find details yet.
