Aaah, newcastle, the place is always heaving with indie bands, I got stoned with maxiimo parks drummer whilst at uni, and my mate nearly knocked out the bass player from the futureheads when we were in the carling acadamy watching* 'the little flames'. Great times. last time I went there, I went into academy only to realise I'd just missed seeing Europe by a matter of hours, i only know one song (the same one everyone else knows), but its fucking mint.

Pfft, as said in Discu board, I found out I wasn't away, but I've got seated tickets , still, I'm trying to work a way of getting into the standing stalls.HereComesPete wrote:Aaah, newcastle, the place is always heaving with indie bands, I got stoned with maxiimo parks drummer whilst at uni, and my mate nearly knocked out the bass player from the futureheads when we were in the carling acadamy watching* 'the little flames'.
