Well I spent half the night using the AR shotgun tonight and I stand by my original statement. Admittedly I'm no the most accurate with it, and it did give me the rage because I swear I must have got 18 kills with it and not got my badge (I was counting them on TS after I thought I'd hit 10), but it takes about half a round to reload and even the delay between shots seems to take an eternity. Nope, still not convinced - I'm positive I'd have done far more damage with the AR or Rapid SMG.Dog Pants wrote:I might have to give it a second chance then, maybe switching to it pre-emptively before I go somewhere tight.

I've unlocked the shotgun and never used it, though I did have three unlocks available at the time, so I went straight up that tree of unlocks to the rocket launcher.
I'm going to agree with Dog Pants anyway though, the shotguns in Beef have never been my favourite weapons as they require very close quarters, whereas I prefer picking people off from 100m away with a PKM (or future equivalent) or a pistol (oh how I do love my occasional pistol sniping kill). They're ok if you know you're going to be in a tight spot, but even then if you have to manually change to it beforehand it'd probably be easier to just run in with the rifle and fire a few shots.

Advanced ammo hub - Pretty much like the normal ammo hub, except it dishes out the ammo faster, so you can whore ammo points quicker. It also resupplies people in and around your vehicle (though I'm sure you could resupply people inside your vehicle with the normal one).
I'll also give my opinions on the Active Camo, since I decided to use it as much as possible (just as I was sick of seeing Time Cloaked: 00:00).
It's actually very handy for capturing flags and silos, my first time using it I went prone on a silo and turned it on, as I was sitting there an enemy walker strolls up to me, looks me right in the face and then moves off. It doesn't last long enough to totally deactivate and capture the silo (you can deactivate and get about half the way through capturing it before it runs out), but it still seems quite handy. I also managed to sneak up on a few tanks using it and demo pack them to hell
If you're going to be in a situation where you absolutely know you won't need either the C4 or the claymores, you might as well stick this in their place.
