Miro = Me.

Post by Miro Mishu »

Lara = not me.

Just an fyi I have released Larantia from her term of service to me and another has taken it upon themselves to pick up the slack. If you see her online it ain't me. Miro still is however.

Thanks!

That's the plan Friz :) And i'll have a Cara in the hold just for you *wink* It'll prolly take a week to outfit my Dread but then i'll come play for sure!

Until then, will a T1 mega work? (Strange that you don't need T2 large rails for capital hybrid, but at least it saved me 3mos of turret training).

You need large hybrid turret 5, which is the meat and potatoes of T2 BS guns. If you've got that it's worth spending 9 days on sharpshooter 5 to get them.

You need small turret spec, then medium turret spec, then large turret spec to use T2 right? And all of those need rank 5 in their respective sizes....

You also need medium relevant spec at 4, and the same with small, but narf if your dread training you should have done em anyway imho. I'm slowly (very slowly) skilling for a naglfar with Hehulk, and I wasn't even going to touch the ship skills until I'd maxed out my gunnery related stuff, just because however much some people complain, BS and support are still the meat and potatoes of eve so it makes sence to fly those well first over something you'll use once a month (baring sieges like 9uy that happen once in a blue moon for us)

Dreadz don't use anything smaller then capital gunz right?

I trained the bare minimum to get them (because there are so many other skills to train) and that went medium turret to 3, large to 5 then capital to 4 (finishing this week). Miro has been streamlining to this for a year and has no fluff skills (like any other ship) other then the ones that came on the path to DN.

I do see your point on the BS = meat and potatos bit however. And I will be working backwards to flush out my (non DN) skills.

It's a good base to start from, having Bs5 and large turret 5, but being a dread pilot, and not even having say T2 small guns just doesn't seem right.

And no, dreads use capitals, and heavy drones.

Yeah before stepping in any capital I would recommend getting all related skills at 4 e.g (capital armor repper systems, tactical weapon manipulation, cap gun skill etc) and your armor comp skills up to 4

I've got t2 med drones atm, and i'll be getting t2 heavys soon (tm).

I know it looks funny having big guns but being shite with the small ones. I laugh thinking about it as well :)
