Alliance Corporate Image & Sigs

Post by friznit »

Steamy thinks it would be a good idea if we extend our corporate image by getting sigs for Eve-O done in the same style as the Hobos but with pictures of ships to match our role in the Alliance. Davik has agreed to make them for us so poke him if you want one doing. Have a look at eRabbit's sig on the alliance forum if you want to get an idea of the style.

This sounds suspiciously like the thinking that made us paint "ROYAL AIR horse" on our helicopters......

i must think of some way to beat the system

amblin wrote:Erm, log on where? The alliance forums? I think I only ever posted there once. I've honestly never had any time whatsoever for the alliance. That's one of the reasons I don't like the idea of 5punkorp members 'rebranding' their online image to fit with the BUM image (that sig by the way shouts 'moody, dark, far too serious')... I like our Dog Pants sig which are all bright and colourful and feature 5punk brand imagery which has always meant fun - or was supposed to... Ffing POS chains.

These are what's called opinions by the way, I'm not calling you all cunts for changing sig. I just wouldn't personally do it. :P
And you have no time for an alliance with which you have played for how long now?

Get with the picture mate. Have a look at where we are in the greater Eve and what benefits we're getting by being in this alliance, and tell me how we would do any better?

Besides, our old sigs that still say ISS. They kinda need changing anyway. It's only a bloody idea, no need to go off on one.

Is the bit that got me riled. I sort of agree with the sig thing, but bad mouthing the alliance I'm trying grow into a decent horse that is good for the corp was just a bit of a low blow.

I'm happy with BUM regardless of a few forum <strike>twats</strike> Warriors

I like our DP sigs

This is not double think

*hugs*

I would be interested, however, in embelishing our current sigs with some sort of BUM tag (or indeed embellishing BUM tags with a great big 5punk 5tain, which would be considerably more subversive) however, I have similar artistic talent to Friz

OK cool. We;ll have to ask Mr Pants nicely when he gets back if he'd be kind enough to tweak his sigs for us.

Howdy. I have a bit of interest in making sigs. I would be glad to help in any way i can. Im not really thinking of letting me do this task that has been mentioned just think it sound like fun. I also have all the software as I enjoy photography. Actually my wife is a professional photographer. SO anywho, Amblin do you have any info on this or DP. I would like to get some basic info to get me a boost. Most interested in the old 5punk or 5punk/iss stuff to see if i can duplicate it then move on from there. If you dont have time no worries.

Ah shit, I was supposed to do this ages ago wasn't I. Sorry chaps.

I can change ISS for BUM for you fairly easily. I've got the original saved as a PSD file.

Morrill, if you fancy having a go I'd recommend using Photoshop. I looked through a few online sig tutorials and got some inspiration there. Just remember to use plenty of layers, as it's so much easier to change things that way.
