9UY Status

Post by traveyb »

From the Hobo's forums:

2007.05.22 22:22

On wednesday night we have a CVA pos in 9UY coming out of re-inforced at 18:48.

P4 - M1 - Large Amarr Tower
2 x Small Beam Laser Battery
20 x Small Pulse Laser Battery

If we kill this then we only have two more towers to take down. If we get a big enough fleet then we might be able to hit those later that evening.

Efforts will be concentrating on closing down 9UY after DT to stop their fleet from forming up and then later on the POS assualt itself.

As always U'K will lack T2 Snipers so the more BS you can bring to the party the better.

In order of preference:
Dreads
T2 Snipers
ECM Scorps to take out their carriers
Carriers
Short Range Damage and tackle
Dictors

Please pass this on to those that need to know.

:ignore:

Edit: if you want to go play, by all means do. Don't expect to see me there. I'm fed up with POS wars, said I wouldn't be doing any more, and I mean to abide by that.

If that's 7:45 pm eve time (Arn't Uk lovely with details like that  ) that makes it 9:45 pm where bomber is when those POS come out. Add in an hours sitting about, and I'd be ready for the sack too.

U'K always use Eve Time. So that's 1948 BST, 2048 GMT+1 (Bomber time) and screw-it-I'll-not-be-there time for me, unless everyone else goes, in which case I'll tag along because I have no free will.

Friz and hulky are right, I'm 2 Hours ahead of eve tiem. Also I am all of teh old and so need my beauty sleep. OTOH, I had misread the OP and thought the time for shooty shooty was 22.22 EVE skimming ftw :P .

18.45EVE I should still be conscious. I have no clone there, but I do have ships so I'll see what I can manage.

Sooo, are people gonna go along tonight or mine in Goram? I could do both I guess...I do feel kinda bad not going to help but then, it always sounds like it's gonna be fun then almost always turns out to be a boring POS sitting lag fest.

We could do a 5punky camp of G-5, or roam from Kari to Assah and back again. Kinda need more than our usual 5 or 6 inty's to do that though.

So, please note the following is from the perspective of a forum troll (since my playtime has been limited recently):

Why is Steamy flipping stances all of a sudden? He's trying to guilt the alliance into staying in Providence because "We started it." I just don't like the feel of that, I dunno what everyone else has to say on it, but I wanted to throw that out there.

Mainly cos he's not listening to me :P

I want us out of Providence. I don't feel that we owe U'K any more than we've done already, and we're hardly dropping them in it since we've had noone down there for weeks now. Steamy otoh feels responsible to a certain extent for the mess they're in, and wants us to help them out as much as possible.

I think we'll probably end up with a comprimise. Will give no direct assistance in the form of POS sitting, but will form up our gangs, camp entry points, and generally be a pain in the arse in Sylph/CVA rear areas while they're busy in 9UY

Doesn't look as if it's going to last much more than a week anyway narf.
