GT12 Summer Lan

Post by Loxy »

It was looking tough for this Lan to go ahead, cos the usual location for us in Brum has major building work going on. However, it has been suggested that we hold this particular lan 'down south' in Lower Weybourne Ln, Badshot Lea, Farnham, Surrey GU9. This is a great location - not only cos i live just up the road, but cos it's a sea scout building, with a big hall, kitchen, dining room, bags of parking, and loads of space to try and sleep in. It's the usual home of the Shotgun Lan.

If Jugger is up to bringing the GTLan gear down, and we can decided on a reasonable date, who is up for this??

I'm definitely up for this one, my missus is going to Ireland for the weekend at some point, so she can return the favour and let me go to a LAN

What time does the LAN start on the Friday though, I finish work at 18:00, and I might not be able to get the day off, so I assume I can just turn up whenever I can get there.

Any ideas how long it would take to get there from Bristol if I'm driving?

Straight up the M5 from Bristol - all the details of the location are on the website. It starts from 4pm Friday - and you can arrive whenever after that.

No-one has paid me yet, though pay day is this Thursday. (HOOORAY) I'm ever hopeful of this one going ahead, but goodness knows if we will actually get enough ppl to make it viable.

May I point out that if it doesn't go ahead, I will refund anyone who had paid. :)

\Umm, how again do we pay?
Why dont you stick a paypal button on that post. Then we could just click it and be done.

Sorry, I can't make it, the LAN party clashes with Global Gathering, and I can't miss my yearly day out on the disco biscuits (Faithless & Basement Jaxx are going to be there as well) :)
