New games in Xire

Post by FatherJack »

Seem to be a lot of additions in the new XFire - PokerStars and CM5 being two I've spend a lot of time on in the past.

Code: Select all

Release notes for 1.40

    * More enhancements to group chat, including the Actions | Invite Friends to Room dialog and kick/banning users.
    * Improved chat window creation to NOT steal the keyboard focus. This was a very strongly requested feature.
    * Auto reconnect added. If you are disconnected from the Xfire servers, you will automatically be reconnected after a short period of time. You can of course still reconnect immediately by hand.
    * Added initial Xfire In-Game support for Direct3D 7. It's enabled in No One Lives Forever, Unreal Tournament, Dungeon Siege, and Dungeon Siege - Legends of Aranna.
    * Added Xfire In-Game support for Second Shite.
    * Updated game server info for all of the Source engine games.
    * Fixed several bugs that could cause file downloads to stall in rare circumstances.
    * New games supported: Dungeon Siege II Beta, Psychonauts, GTR, Pariah, Psychotoxic, Immortal Cities: Children of The Nile, Championship Manager 5, Football Manager 2005, Total Club Manager 2005, Soldiers - Heroes of World War II, Plan of Attack, Total Annihilation, Pro Evolution Soccer 4, Age of Empires, Trackmania Sunrise, PokerStars.com, PokerRoom.com, EmpirePoker.com, and TruePoker.com.

From what I hear, CM5 is buggier than fuck..
Buggier than the bug infested swamps of bugtopia on bugbath IV in the beetlejuice system.

That sounds quite buggy ;), but haven't had too many problems since the patch, although I have gotten into the habit of using workarounds like not changing my mind about substututions.

I've only played it a bit - just long enough to get Coventry City promoted and win the FA Cup - so not that long at all...
