Hello Mates. I am trying to plan for future research needs (do I need to expand) and location to get closer to the main group. I am about 27 jumps away from Elgoi and it makes things a bit tough to be part of the fun. I would also like to thank you for use of the research labs. As I have always said, it is not meant to be a profit center toward the 5punker’s. So here is a list of questions.

1. Are you researching elsewhere? If so what are the reasons for using something else. Cost? Distance? You don’t like people named Jack?
2. Is the main group going to be moving from Elgoi in the next 2 or 3 months? This is asked as current jobs have up to 25 days on them. By the time I take down and move I don’t want to have to move again. Also faction. Can stay where we are now with no problem but if we move we have to have the faction. Brubeck has been working quite a bit to get the faction to move close to Elgoi.
3. Do you have jobs that are needed but you have not gotten around to doing it. I always want to have slots available for 5punk.

I think you get the idea. Please give me thoughts. Again I want to thank all of you for using the services and helping to get this up and running.

If I need a lab slot Jack I come to you, with the only exception of I sometimes use NPC stations to copy BPOs if you're not online.

Good service, I shall keep coming back as long as you are up and running.

For me it isn't a problem distance wise as I base in a different station within the same system as the POS.

First up, let me say thank you on behalf of all the 5punkers for running this research POS, which has already proved its worth tenfold. Good job, and please keep it up!

ME/PE and copy slots are at a huge premium in empire due to invention, so a research pos is vital. I've been whoring business for you wherever I can, and I hope you've received a few evemails as a result. I've not had much recourse to use it myself yet, but will certainly not go elsewhere.

About Elgoi: narf I'm not sure yet. I'll discuss it with the new directors next week and decide whether to move our empire base or leave it where it is. There's a few things happening that mean it might make sense to move. For now, I'd suggest staying where you are. It's more likely that we'll come to you rather than the other way round.

Finally, some questions for you: is the POS making enough to pay the fuel bills and make a little on the side for you, and are the slots running at full capacity or sitting idle alot of the time?

I have not put a sharp pen to paper to determine the fuel to profit. However it is prob about a break even on fuel at this point. Total set up Brubeck and I are probably still in the red. Plus i can do my own stuff when slots are free. That is profit in itself. PE slots are hardly ever used. ME slots are usualy full and right now a basically maxed with just corp stuff. Just secured a contract for all copy slots on an indeffiante time frame. I can still work corp jobs in though. Copy has not been a real requested item. Mostly just ME.

Yes about three have contacted me for service. Thanks for Pimping Me.

Have considered expanding and adding more labs but i need toget a good feel for the need. Bigger does not always mean more profit. Especially if there is a dry spell but still have to fuel. I would rather be small and full then bigger and paying fuel for empty slots.

Some of the fun things are having the skills to make it efficeint. I know many of you have them. Some of you dont. When you bring me an item that i can do alot faster it makes it much more worth it. For example someone broguht me a copy job the other day and their original copy time was about 5 days per copy. My time was less then a day per run.

So i am cranking out all the skills i can. I have three characters devoted to the research POS. Next in line is to get up to speed on invention.

I do have to say all the work and distance does take me a bit away from the rest of the group but I am still wiht you in heart.

You attach a lab to the POS and keep it offline until you need it

The on/off switch is perfect for your needs.

You seem to be enjoying running it which is good. I may have some PE work for you soon™. And I'm surprised your copy slots are empty, since invention needs max run copies I'd have thought they were the most popular.

comment on location and you may seem like i am beating this issue like a dead horse. sorry for all you horse lovers out there. BUT elgoi was always a temporary fix. we pvp in 0.0 in the south. we have and for the for see able future we will still be in the south. elgoi for ore and roid size blows, yes there are no rats but any 2 week old char can sick drones on npc rats 0.5 and above and still never worry about losing their barge. mining 5 minutes on a roid and pop is aggravating. where 5punkience is in goram is surrounded by 0.5-0.8 systems and low security is 3 jumps out. corp office rental is cheap, less than 100k isk a month. there are slots available. the station i had set up till last night has everything you need, refining production and once again 5punkience is next door. jack, hulk, wiggy, fear, and i mission agents are within 5 jumps from there. oh 9uy is less than 8 jumps from where i am at right now compared to how far from elogi.
now i can go on and on and on as why i want the corp out of elgoi but i'll stop now and wait for replies.
