Director Elections

Post by friznit »

Guys,

With people's playing time and priorities changing, we're gonig to have a refresh of the corp directors. Therefore we will be holding a two stage selection process. First stage is to narrow it down to five nominees, from which 2 directors will be elected in a corp vote.

The directors will have specific responsibilities for daily running of corp business: one for PvP ops, one for Industry. There may also be a tertiary position in the industrial alt corp, but this will be an unelected post. Directors will also be responsible for setting corp policy in conjunction with myself. Feafalas will hold an honourary, non-executive directorship as an acknowledgement to his 2 year tenure as CEO.

First round nominees should be submitted to me by evemail and copied to Feafalas, who will preside over the whole process to ensure it remains fair. You may nominate anyone you wish, including yourself. Closing date for submissions is Sunday 20 May 07.

I have sent nominations of sorts, and I'd also like to nominate myself for the non-executive role of "Director of Mockery"

/me worries that mummy turned to daddy so fast! Don't those, erm, changes take a bit more time?

I'm also excited to see where this takes 5punkorp, and even insured a PVP Domi last night! If the early bit of tag team work Silver and I did last night with a Raven/Domi combo is any indication, we may unfortunately need to change the name of the corp to Wreck Makers R Us
With just a singe large shield transfer, Silver was able to tank everything sweat free, leaving my new loves (T2 Heavy Drones of Doom) to deal out some scary dps all their own, while I looted, getting us through level 4's quickly, and without having to go back for loot. (and without sucking down cap charges even!) For anything UBER hairy, I had a set of large shieldy drones on hand to give him an extra boost, while still fitting my full Domi armor tank. Besides T2 Heavies and the shield bots, I could also carry a set of medium T2's, so frigs and such weren't a problem either.

Teamwork is the big edge we can have in Eve. We're a small group, and we work together well when we do work together. Let's up the scale a bit to corp level, (admittedly maybe gangs of 4 on a consistent basis, compared to our little duo from last night, but still VERY much more effective than 4 people out solo). I admit to having thought I wasn't good enough for PVP in the past, but somehow passing the 5 mil sp mark in Drones makes me feel good at something, and has opened up my sights a bit. Last night when Silver invited me on a mission, I fully engaged, bringing all my T2 kit, ready to risk it all for the chance to succeed. And succeed we did! Despite never having practiced a remote shield support or extensive planning, we were extremely effective, and as I tweaked my fit over a couple more missions, discovered my rails as useless compared to my drones, (can barely fit large rails, when I can do that AND all the drones, watch out!) So I fit my hi's with (1) Large Shield Transfer (2) tractors (2) salvagers, and (1) Drone link augmentor. My lows were all tank, and mids were mostly cap recharge with an AB. The cap needle never dropped below 30 while constantly boosting Silver for almost a half hour at one point. When running both tractors and salvagers I did drop below 30% for a bit, so I put the shield drones on Silver and let the cap build for about a minute, 5 of them (Whether there is an unlisted rep bonus in Drone Interfacing or the Domi, we don't know) were faster than the single large transfer anyway.

Long story, but it was FUN, EFFECTIVE, and hopefully profitable enough to help me fit my new PVP Domi out with enough kit to pull the same tricks against targets smart enough to switch targets when they see a Raven tanking as well as Silver was, at which point he can launch his own armor bots on me while we simply take them apart.. :)

Gah, gotta work. See you all on Sisi I hope!

And props to Dolly who showed up for one mission in an AF and kept frigs off us, which was helpful.

My apologies, was a bit early post, and you weren't on vent, so missed out on some fun bits. But I never really mentioned we were on Vent either, so my apologies again.

:above: little old dolly in her af keeping them frigs and cruisers off your butt (1 mission) gets no mention, typical.

just thought of something. mummy is now daddy but is still mummy at heart so is frizi now a trans gender or am i letting the imagination wander a little. cause this whole mommy being daddy thing is starting to make me think of them weirdos in west Virginia that were a guy and no a girl but still ugly then their neighbors dog. not saying that friz is going the west Virginia route i am just curious as to who is mommy and daddy now.

i want my mommy
