Basically its Mark Williams (fast show guy) going around finding about the history, manufacture and use of explosives.

This was on one of the factual channels a while ago wasn't it? I'm sure I've seen it before or it might have been the Industrial Revelations programme he did and someone else doing an explosions/weapons programme.
