MOAR REVIEWS!
This forum has the potential to be quite a useful resource, but it could definitely do with more regular reviews being posted. The main area of expansion is probably towards the console side of things, in particular DS, PSP and Wii. Any review is worth doing, even a two-liner. At least it can then be a guide for someone wanting to try it, or a starting point for a discussion about the game.
Therefore, I ask people to post reviews on anything they've tried recently which others may not have played. If you've swept an old game and found it to be fairly entertaining, then chances are someone else will too, so just make a new topic and put in a couple of lines about the game and what you liked about it. Similarly for any games you haven't liked, say what was pants about them. If you're trying a new game and haven't made up your mind about it yet, then post something about your first impressions.
An increasing number of us seem to have various consoles which supplement our PC gaming, and reviews for these games are always welcome. If anything they could be more useful, since someone who has just bought, say, a Wii might then have games brought to their attention which they otherwise may have missed.
A good quality review of a decent game is likely to encourage more people to play it, and so we might find the next Raven Shield or Joint Ops out there somewhere. At the end of the day, 5punk has such a diverse membership in terms of gaming interest that most games will appeal to at least someone here, and so will reviews of them. I'd like to see good-quality reviews of games using the format already suggested, but an initial two-liner on first impressions would be just as welcome!

Good call old bean. I might do a review of Zelda: Twilight Princess seeing as I'm fairly impartial and have never played a Zelda game before. I'll do Advance Wars DS too once I've had chance to play it properly. Ooh, in fact I might go through the games I've got here and do a movie-style mini review post.
You cock that review up and there are a large number of people who will want to try Korean style Dog Pants!!!!!!!!Dog Pants wrote:Good call old bean. Give it 10/10 or I'll send Pnut in the post.

So far I agree, but I'd like to see how a newcomer to zelda rates it.Stoat wrote:I was going to challenge you there, but I can't think of anything that takes it down to Nine Country.
It isn't perfect, but it's close enough if you squint.
Right now I'm thinking it's almost exactly as good as OOT, and better than Maj's mask and Windwaker.

Twilight Princess was my first Zelda. I've since gone off and had a go at older ones.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:So far I agree, but I'd like to see how a newcomer to zelda rates it.

Yeah I'm a bit further on and a Zelda newbie and I'm with D.P. on this one including the score.Dog Pants wrote:Maybe I'll play it for a bit longer then, because I'm honestly not that impressed so far. I don't think it's bad, but I'm only thinking about 7/10 up to now. I'm on the second wolf bit at the moment, collecting tears on Death Mountain.
