Halo 3 beta out on Wednesday

I'm moderately interested. I liked the original Halo CTF, although I didn't play Halo 2 (did that come out for the PC?).

I think you had to buy a limited edition of Crackdown to get this. If not it will certainly piss off a lot of people that did.

Not yet, and when it does come out (which should be Very Soon Now - a couple of weeks, if that), it's going to be Fista only.

I found Halo 1 to be the all round better game, plus the zoomy thing with melee weapons was utter fucking pointless on number 2.

As was the lack of ammo.

The complete changing on the weapons to a much worse weapon set.

The need to drop the weapon in your left hand to smack the enemy with the butt of the gun in the right (plasma rifles etc...).

Lots of little what I view as utter flaws prevent me from enjoying the game as much as the first, it all seems a little rushed.

I'm not getting into a Halo 2 rant here.

The video's so far of Halo 3 are promising and restoring my faith after the complete failure of the 2nd title.
