alright, i've not been around for a while. maybe i was spoiled by the fleet fights, and small gangs we had with ISS.

I've been back a week, and it seems like 5punkorp has just been sitting in pos sheilds. I left hoping that there was still a 5punkorp for me to join. well, its there, but it doesnt appear to be doing anything. when i joined 5punkorp, it was just a knockabout. we'd run missions, mine to obtain new ships for each other, go ratting. We joined ISS to get access to 0.0, and we turned into the most reliable (IMHO) corp. alliance wide message would go out: need help, and 5punkorp would rock up and do it. that wasnt a problem. even though i was hardly ever there, i still helped out where i could.

I'm bored stuffless. i have no initiative, so i look for leaders to tell me where to go, and who to shoot. i havent been getting this. yeah its a character flaw, that i need to be told what to do. well flipit, i have to lead in RL so i need time off when i'm not at work.

I agree. Sitting at a UK pos for hours on end is boring as fuck.

Before going off on one totally, please talk to the people trying to run this corp. As this is the first time you've actually mentioned that you're not entirely fucking happy, let me reserve the right to go back a few days....

First off, you missed the worst of the ISS death knells while we did nothing but sit in POS's for months. Yes, we were the last corp sitting on the gate in C3 as the alliance fell apart around us and we stayed as long as we physically could. But the corp made a unanimous decision to leave in the end.

Secondly, you got back at a bad time. Until last week we'd been having alot of fun running around in small gangs shooting stuff up, running missions in empire, mining, and were on the brink of getting ourselves a nice juicy place to set ourselves up despite various problems with D2, BoB and the war in general, details which I'd be happy to explain if you wish.

Then CVA assaulted last week. The alliance made a policy decision to assist our close allies and we had a couple of very cool battles. At the beginning of this week it stagnated and we've been working out where to go next, since none of us enjoy POS warfare very much. If you took the time to read the Alliance Forum you'll see a very long thread started by me discussing this very topic.

Give it some more time. There were always quiet periods before when not alot happened, don't let your selective memory suggest that it was all bells and whistles 23/7. But maybe a break from Eve is much needed, so have fun and hope to see you soon.

Also remember guys, you don't have to "POS Sit". It isn't compulsury.
Just poke people in alliance to see if there is any roaming gangs etc.

Here's some direction for people who want to play:

Get a ship you don't mind losing
Fly to Assah
Poke people in alliance or Tea Bagings channel for a gang

I'm going to push for some ninja mining today and get something going. Be prepared to carebear with an attitude.

Btw, we also need a new Revelation. Falling asleep at the wheel is bad for your health apparently. Sorry Jimmy, you probably don't even know yet
