oooh...
I really liked the first one, I'm not a fan of horror, but modern Brit-horror seems to work well when done properly - like Dog Soldiers which I thought was fantastic
I'm sure there are other good examples, but I can't think of any!

As far as I can tell, a good shocking aye. I'll have to give it a watch in the next week or so. Hoping that cinema's don't care about 18 certs too much (Being 17 is so so more annoying when you're about a month away).spoodie wrote: That's a good shocking then, not a bad shocking? Opinions on IMDb look good but I don't want to know too much before seeing it.
When I worked in a cinema we kinda based letting someone who looked young in by the calibre of the film they wanted to watch and how they were acting on the way in. Also you're much more likely to be let in if there's just a couple of you like a boy/girl couple or some variation thereof.pixie pie wrote:

Looking forward to this immensely.

Well i went to see 28 Weeks Later on Friday.
And i must say, although watchable, i came out disappointed. I guess going in expecting something as brill as the first one makes it difficult to overcome expectations. The storyline is simple, and has so many "OMG that's a really stupid thing to do!" parts to it that it gets tedious.
The ending is particularly bad, the decent-ish build up leads to nothing much.
I'd say, watch it if you are bored, but better to wait for a decent rip to fall to the floor really.
