Spec me some parts please bitches

Well its been an age since i did any pc buying, so i really dont have a clue. Basically im looking to buy a motherboard with a new CPU, a graphics card, 2 gig-o-rams and maybe a nice new shiny PSU. So pretty much everything.

The theme being it should be good value, i dont want the old girl to half in value in a month, so not the latest and greatest.
But still good enough so i can call it The Golden Stallion or something.

As for spending price, shall we say about £500/£700? As i said i have no idea here, so feel free to go over/under budget quite a bit. I'm easy going

obviously you'll wanna adjust stuff a little (that cpu has been superseded by the e6420 I think) but it saves me doing any work.

check Joose's spec too, that might help

yep, you could probably squeeze a little extra shiney for your monies now, but what ive got fits what you're describing rather well. Ive yet to find anything I can't just shove all the graphic-sliders up to 11 in, so should keep you going for a while.

FEAR, for some reason spacks out on my new rig, pausing in-game quite regularly. However I tried whacking the knobs down a bit (especially the fizziscks ones) and it still did it. I conclude that it is simply shit.

I had this too, I put it down to funny drivers. The new ones seem to have fixed it for me.
