I have an mp3 player I carry around everywhere that has all the songs I listen to. My taste is very broad and have no loyalty to any single artist or genre, so I could listen to ABBA followed by Black Sabbath and Richard Marx topped off with Morning Musume.

But lately, I made a playlist filled with the soundtrack of Guilty Gear XX and Isuka. That game's soundtrack rocks a lot.

I was going to point you towards the last.fm group, but I see that it doesn't actually have any charts for some reason. I thought that was the whole point, but clearly I'm wrong.

edit: seems to work now. http://www.last.fm/group/5punk.co.uk

The cries of my minions slaving as they toil for the greater good of my empire.

*cough*

Shuffle all the way baby. Skippage here and there. And adding cheesy songs that arn't on the playlist occasionally for variation.

Ooh, thread resurrect.

Usually a bizarre train-wreck mix of underground hip-hop, j-pop, and downtempo/lounge-type music, with some normal pop, hard rock, and classic jazz thrown in.

So yeah, a pretty eclectic mix.

If you see a lot of stuff that you've never heard of, it's probably my fault.

It doesn't seem to be showing me any charts. Perhaps this is because we don't have 15 *active* members? I know I've left mine going very actively for the past couple of years. It's a very good indication of what I like to listen to, one of these days I'll get around to tagging the musicians, so that I have a good overview of the 'genres' I listen to. If you aren't signed up to last.fm yet, I recommend it!

It wasn't just me then.
I can see them now though, even when I'm logged out.

During the day I mostly listen the quiet hubbub in the background of my office, and the whirring of the air conditioning. The joy is almost unmeasurable.

You have air conditioning? Lucky bastard. I just have to listen to the whirring of our crappy workstations and the frantic gibbering the more motivated of our staff, or the morbid complaints of the less motivated ones (like me).
