Anyone heard much about Rogue Warrior? Just came across an article about it and it sounds very promising. The full single-player game can be played cooperatively, and the multiplayer sounds like it could be fun. Its being developed by Bethesda Softworks. Multiplayer maps are based on a "tile" system apparently - each team votes on a tile at the start of a round, and then a third tile is picked at random to form the map. No confirmed release date yet, but thought I'd mention it to the masses!

Thems the buggers. I certainly does look rather good. 4-man coop is low, but could provide a fun alternative for when there aren't enough of us for multiplayer fun. I'm certainly intregued, and look forward to at least trying a demo. Only release date I've seen was this summer, but the lack of general info makes this highly doubtful, so maybe autumn some time.

Urk! Sounds a bit like that de_office map that's a bunch of other ones stuck together. Could be a bit confusing, but interesting to see how it works.
Sounds like it might actually be good. There are a finite number of tiles with around 200 possible combinations. Also, the fact that they're not based on pre-existing and familar maps means that it may not feel so odd. As long as its more imaginative than just having clear divisive lines across the map then it might work. I guess only the demo will tell.

Anyone remember a game called Joint Ops? I remember that being pretty good for co-op larks...
That was co-op? So that's who the people on motorbikes were who went flying past me five minutes into the marathon I had to run every time I wanted to get near the action.
