So basically it was all a dream and he woke up and he had not shot JR and Bobbie Ewing was a ghost from the future sent back in time to save Earth from being destroyed by the current wave of nostalgia fuelled entertainment and being sucked up it's own time-hole.

I guess I probably need to see some of the show to understand the Wiki entry fully.

I'm currently sweeping Series 1 and 2, so I haven't looked at spoolers but I kind of know what happens.

Did see the episode with the bombs/IRA, was most win.
