The second series returns this month to BBC One, and I personally loved watching it.

It's not ground breaking but the difference between the modern day culture and that of the 70's make for some really amusing moments in the series.

Apparently the second series is where everything definitely finishes, and you will find out exactly what is happening to Sam.

For those of you that haven't seen the first series, the concept is a basic one, where a modern day policeman (Sam) has an accident, and wakes up in the year 1973. Throughout the first series he is trying to work out if he is dead, in a coma, or whether he will ever wake up.

Well worth a watch, and I saw this advertised for the 19th in a magazine, but nothing official from BBC as yet.

I have the first on DVD, never quite got around to watching the last disc, but I did quite enjoy it. There was at least one nice little touch in each episode which served to highlight the differences between then and now - like the ambulance driver.

I watched the first series a few months ago as it was on TV. If it doesn't end up overlapping another show (or five, since there's far too many good things on recently) I'll watch it.

The "contemporary character in a historical setting" has been done once or twice I guess - it's interesting in that it's memorable, or at least recognisable to more people than wartime London was.

Last nights 2 episodes were ace (If your a BBC4 fan, you'll have seen 2). Enjoying where the series is going
