Command and Conquer 3
I picked this up a few days ago, and I'm a ways into the GDI campaign. I really don't want to comment on the whole thing until I've beaten all campaigns, but so far it's been very fun, shiny, and runs wonderful on my aging PC. And it has Lando FUCKING Calrissian.
Ooh, ooh! I found a quicker way than abusenet! Here's how it works:
I go into town with about £25*. There's things there called 'shops'. They're nothing to do with the police, no. You can exchange your £25* for stuff in them. If you find the right type you can exchange your £25* for a copy of C&C3. In fact, you can do it with many games. Amazing!

Only downside being you get one game per £25 payment, and still have to crack the game to protect your purchase.Dog Pants wrote:Ooh, ooh! I found a quicker way than abusenet! Here's how it works:

The video lagged about 5 seconds behind the sound in the campaign intro movie, so I'm waiting until I build my new machine.Nickface wrote:runs wonderful on my aging PC
It could be codecs, but I can play vids fine normally and I'd rather play games than arse around trying to fix this box.

I'm just waiting for Lando to bust out something like "We have to wait for the GDI commander to knock the shields out before we can attack Nod's deathstar!"
EDIT: Also, I'm having problems with playing with some of my friends online. Apparently people with Linksys routers are having connection issues with EA's lobby, and read something somewhere about a patch. We had to resort to using hamachi to get a game going, which still left us with some problems here and there.
