Morril was suppose to do this but I can't deal with it anymore.

5punkience is now 3 members strong and has a pos in 0.6 and has 3 labs running researching now.

morril and bru are running this thing. 5punk isn't, friz, fea, dolly q all of us have no say on how this corp is run. the corp is 5punky but single entity.

General - depending on the market mineral prices and such, is it more profitable to research the bpo and build what to sell or is bpo copying isk efficient? What bpo should be researched sooner than later? we want to make it profitable and morril and them are coming up with some things so don't ask me what the deal is. (i just don't know)

Traders - what are you making the most isk on right now? what areas of the market do you think we should push into?

Scientist/Invention - whats up with this stuff? is it easier and if so would researching any bpo's help out (i.e. covetor bpo => hulk bpc) does it use bpo's or bpc's if bpc's then how many should we make considering that there will be some mistakes in the beginning

production - this goes along with the traders, what research lvl is best for you? of course higher the better but the reasonable # cause i here there is a point of diminishing returns on research

these are just a few of the questions that i came up with off the top of my head that i don't have an answer for. chime in with any reply and more important any questions that your not sure on. i find this all a little fascinating in a way.

Hello!

Actually I was the one who said I would post on the forums about the POS. Any flames should be sent to me, not Morrill.

I'm on my way out again, but will post later this evening (I'm US, California - way on the other side of things). Basically everything is set up and ready to go. I'd like to suggest some possible logistic plans for using the labs most efficiently. I'd also like to get some input on what people feel is the best ME level for time vs. return (I'll post some numbers on this).

I consider Dolly part of this operation too, as it wouldn't have been possible without his connections to the local authorities and his uber-station-setup skillz!

You are reading it upside-down. It actually reads 999.

Gratz guys, that's some top teamwork all round, well done!

IIRC, you want T1 Ships to ME20, T1 Modules to ME100, carrier components to ME25, Carrier Ship BPO's to ME1 or 2. Not sure about PE levels, but if it's a high turn over item and sells alot at low profit, high PE is essential (e.g. cruisers).

Stick to building stuff smaller than bs's. The profit margins are so tight in empire that you're better of making lots of small things than a few big things. Sell copies of the bs's and any bc's that aren't in production at the moment. Best way would be to do a 5:1 copy sales:production ratio.

Invention can be profitable, although the ship/module data interfaces are prohibitively expensive unless you go out and find them yourselves. It's not profitable if you buy everything off the market afaik, though I've not checked recently. We have a T2 Rig Data interface BPC (2 runs) already FYI.

spearmint_man wrote:Yeah - i do have a lab though dont actualy "have" it. I think the physical having is Dres or someone like that. I would be happy for you to have the lab Morrill if i could have use of it (still owned by me)- my isk funds are quite strong shall we say and would be interested in using the slots to get the POS profitable and start making iskies for the corp - i am finking i would have to change to the newly made corp name - but dont know for sure : but the skills i have i dont want to waste. I would be willing to help in funding if needed for the POS especially with buying fuel in one lump sum and get hauling help via friz - im guessing the pos will have a station in system. ???
I contracted it to you from Cherise, with an evemail to linky to it. Just in case you've not seen it, (I've not been on much this week)

Where is the POS btw? Or if you don't want to post it publicly could you evemail please? I have a few BPO's I'd like to run down and get copied/researched if possible. What's the process for this? Should I contract them to you, put them in the corp hangar or get a toon in 5punkience to do it?
