Brum Bash

Post by Grimmie »

Starting a new thread, seeing as the other one has a multitude of dates. The idea of the Bash was to get a group of 5punkers altogether for non-gaming related hijinks. My folks will be away for much of Saturday 28th of April and a little of Sunday 29th and thus the Grimmie household will be able to accommodate a moderate number of 5punkers on various sleeping surfaces, mainly floors, a camp bed, and a sofa. Plan would be to arrive at my abode in Birmingham sometime in the afternoon and dump your sleepytiem stuff off, and head off in a minicab or two in search of a public house.

Pub and curry on the Saturday night.
A trip of Cadbury World on the Sunday.
(Adults £13, or £9.70 each for a group of 15+)

:ahoy: 5punkers should be at least 18 for drinky night, or be prepared to sip lemonade.

Please reply with a YAY! or NEIGH!

If there is too little a response, then I'll try and arrange something similar during July, when my parents will be spiralling off somewhere else for a holiday.

I'm both too poor and too busy at the mo, but something in the summer might be doable. I'll have to see nearer the time though.

It's a Yaybe (or maybe neighbe) for me - I should be free that weekend but it'll take me about 5 hours to get there and I don't know if I can be arsed with that. I'm still expecting to move to somewhere more central from june onwards thought, so a summer one would be great if I've moved by then.

If we both end up going to one in the summer Mr Pants then do you fancy halving your fuel expenses? Assuming you haven't moved far far away of course. :)

If I'm still up here then absolutely, some company is nice on the journey anyway. I doubt I'll be anywhere near here after I move though, unless I get sent north. Lincolnshire is most likely.

Well a provisional hurrah then. How likely is it you'll be shifting? I think there are a couple of other 5punkers in the Tyne and Wear region too, but I can't remember who though so it is likely to be some of the less frequent posters/visitors.

It's 100% likely I'll be moving, I just don't know when. I'll have 90 days notice from when they tell me at least though, so end of June at the earliest.
