Hey fella, nice to see the shop is in good shape.
Since you know what forums are, my advice is to take this particular question to the Webmaster World forums. I know of this as an excellent resource through the peeps I involve myself with and I would even go as far as saying "become a paid subscriber" as you get access to a hardcore of devs and SEO egg-spurts.
Btw, they do pub conventions from time to time

Oh, and I've no idea. I shut down oil refineries. Search engines are beyond my sphere of expertise. Databases I'm getting better at, but still .. no idea ... sorry

That is the best I can come up with also. At present the store owner can specify the meta desc and keywords in their controlpanel and then this is dynamically written to every page. I am thinking of altering that and instead taking the first <p> tag's contents and slapping that there - or for product/producer pages I can just take the product description or something.pixie pie wrote:Nice little engine there, couldn't you not put some useful info into the meta description, such as the product being browsed etc, so that they get trawled like that. This is if you can't find a way of making google do the work for you.
I will go whore that forum + posted also, just incase there is a simpler solution involving less work on my part.
