Hey you 5punky lot

I have returned after a VERY long absence from 5punk (all the way back to when I ran the Now-defunct Americas Army section of this forum! lol).

And.....I have just started my 14 day trial of EVE, with an intention to buy it ASAP.
I guess what i need is an invite to Fw4appers, a lil cash ( I have my eye on a Coercer Destroyer, and am already trained up to use it

.....just need the 900,000 ISK for it) and a little help! lol

I have Vent and such installed, so I'll try to be on that too.

Anyway, just saying hi and basically crying for help!

First bit of advice. No, bad monkey. Destroyers when your brand new to eve = nice shiny waste of isk. Stick with something like a punisher till you can fly (and Fit!) cruisers

The only reason I want to go the Destroyer route at first is because as soon as my trial is up, and i activate it into a real account, I shall be getting about 200 Million ISK or more.....So I just want something to do while I train up to cruisers and battleships

I tried EVEmailing the Supposed leader of Fw4ppers, but the name i copy/pasted from here doesnt exist!

I'm going to start training Cruisers ASAP

Still need monies though!

Destroyers are good for some missions which are a bit hard for a frigate, but which won't allow you to take cruisers/BCs.

Buying isk will just ruin the game narf. And you need time to train before you can use anything worth 1/10th that amount.

Right! I have applied for Fw4ppers (sadly before I read this, took a lil work in Fw4pper chat but hey!

I also now have a punisher (properly equipped as suggested by others) and am training up for Cruisers!

Progress!

As for the buying ISK - we shall see. I'm quite patient normally, so if i do find that I dont need to buy it......I wont! lol, very simple

And it's against the EULA. CCP are hot on it and besides, 5punker or not there will be no room in 5punkorp for people who countenance ebaying or isk purchase. No arguments.

IT WAS JUST AN IDEA!!

Anyway, funnily enough I am already bumming it around Elgoi at the moment, doing Agent missions that are far too easy for my Punisher (Most enemies take about 5 seconds to die, except "Boss" types), but tis quite fun :D

On a side note - I normally dont agree with buying it myself, I was really testing the waters on that one (And I didnt know it was against the EULA).

Frig lvl4 is just about done, then I'm going to train up Cruisers (hopefully to lvl3 for a Maller).
