(Talking of 360's, I walked into the Virgin mega stores in Coventry and their display Xbox 360 had the 3 lights of doom hardware failure. I Lol'd).

Next Week: PS3 GAMES! Also; Please talk me out of buying one... I'm still in 2 minds

THE PS3: EXPENSIVE, REDUNDANT MEDIA PLAYER.
Wait till it comes down in price before you get one, if you really need to.
Same approach as the Wii, wait for the hype to die down, wait for some actual games to be released, bugs to be ironed out, etc etc.

Failing that.

DONT BUY PS3 OR I SET you're DOG ON FIRE >:{

Only way I'll get one is if dialaphone are doing them for free give-aways when I come to get a new mobile contract in August/September time, and I can't see that happening!

Yeah, then add the price of the phone itself on there.. minimum of 179.99... that's already looking at £599.99...

but on the "/me ZOMG MUST GET PS3 front"... I can get 10% off! 10 PER CENT!!

To be honest, I would spend the money on something else stupid, like a shiny new PC but I don't want to do that unless some uber awesome game comes out that everyone on 5punk sweeps/buys and plays alot, which would require a shiny new PC. Something along the lines of Half Life 2 goodness... but I can't see any games coming out soon that would be both equally awesome and warrant an upgrade.

Is this any good? I've heard mixed reports but metacritic gives it a solid 71% based on 13 reviews. Always enjoyed the other ones though.

No idea, really. I've got TW2003 on xbox, which is good. That on Wii would do me fine to be honest.

No idea, but I really enjoyed wii sports golf, And I hate golf and golfers, so its kinda wierd for me to be excited about a golf game, i may even try to take the sport up.

It is most good - rather like the Wii Sports Golf as far as control method goes (no bad thing), but loads of golfers, clothes, clubs, play modes and courses. Looks better too. The contols for navigating the menus are a bit arse, though.

I've only played it a bit, and 71% seems a little low for the bits I've seen - what was their main criticism?
