Retro is the new intro...or something.
I find all the silver cases with blue LEDs a bit...Vauxhall Nova, and the Alienware stuff is just...gaudy, Subaru with the 555 design.
I quite like the plain matte black design (although the C= logo is a bit spazzy, yet ludicrously, deliciously retro) - understated, yet insanely powerful - like a Mini Cooper, Lotus Cortina or Williams Clio.

It's one of these: http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/produc ... es/zm-mfc1Dr. kitteny berk wrote:you could just unhook the lights.
I'd have to snip the connection to the circuit board which I'm not sure of. At the moment I have a bit of cardboard sellotaped over them because they stobe and try to give me brain cancers.
The case lights went long ago.

Me too, now I feel bad. Shame on you FJ. But then everything I have is silver and blue, or at least as close as I can get - it's a theme. Even my mini beer fridge is silver with a blue LED. I might switch them all out for orange or green though at some point, spoodie wrote: Phew, that's a relief.
Unfortunately, after FJs post, it does have blue LEDs but I couldn't help that. Trying to buy stuff without gaudy LEDs is not easy.
