Well hello there you little gayers

Post by SuperMatt »

I just thought I'd join you guys. I don't play very often these days but I'd quite like to get back into the habit.

I'm quite fond of the quake and unreal series, and have become quite addicted to Supreme Commander.

I also have my own dedicated server (animal.supermatt.net) so I can host some games if you like. I'll probably host UT2k4 and Quake2/3/4 servers on there anyway.

I've applied to join over at xfire so if you could see your way to let me in and give you all a good bumming I would appriciate it an aweful lot.

Dr. Kitteny Berk runs 5punks game servers, but by all means, feel free to host what you want, especially the likes of Unreal & Quake as Berk no longer hosts those games as people got bored of them.

Pimp your own games and see what the uptake is like, failing that get yourself a real mans game like :cod:

I see. I'm sure I could drum up some enthusiam for the games. Failing that I'll just horse people to play through fear of being bummed.

Do you guys use irc at all? I can't find any mention of it.

Harro thar!

With an attitude like "Well hello there you little gayers", I think you'll fit right in. Are there any current FPS games that tickle your fancy, or are you lost forever to the beardy world of RTS?

As the other mongs have said, we're very much a forum-based group, and use xfire as the main means of chat for poking people to play games. However, I'd heartily recommend 5cheduling anything you want to play and then pimping it a bit on the form. Chicken did it with Joint Ops recently and now theres about a dozen of us who have it.

I'd quite like to see how ArmA plays online, but I don't want to have to put up with all the bugs!

I'm mostly an FPS fan. I don't really like CSS too much, but I'll happily play it. I might be tempted to buy DoDs too. I'm not really an RTS fan, but I was absolutely blown away by supcom.
