Everquest 2
Well, I'm downloading the demo to try. Emphasis on downloading. The "time left" on it is over 11 hours. My friend who is into this wants me to give it a spin (though it'll be a cold day in hell before I pay a monthly fee to play a game I paid $50 for).
Anyone capible of giving me a preliminary review? How does it stack up with World of Warcraft, the other one I was interested in trying.

Everquest 2 is the poo.
Seriously, it it is faaabulous. I was playing for about a month, like an hour or so a day, and I got too like level 10. Unless you have far too much patience and free time, then it's a bad choice.

I always remember a great quote from a friend of mine about everquest (and its ilk) "I dont want to spend hours building up a character just to get killed by a rat that happens to have more mana than me".
Made me laugh anyway

Well today was the end of my weekly trial, and it was ok. I got used to doing everything and soforth, but I still can't see the justification for paying a monthly fee for it, especially when guild wars is coming out and is a lot better, IMO.
