Industrial toons make surprisingly good ECM characters. Train up caldari cruiser a few levels (which is the hard part), then stick some levels into electronic warfare and signal distortion and boom, decent support pilot.
We keep telling 'em - we're actually short of frig tacklers for fighter bombing. We had 60 fighters to hand out the other day and only about 5 frigs. Takes about an hour tops to train basic fighter/bomber tackling skills with these new toons - any frig, 1mn ab, 20km scram, sensor booster is all you need.
