Options > Keymapping > Chat > unhide is the thing you want to unhide yourself, just bind it to a handy key, then reset binds.

Also, http://www.xfire.com/clans/5punk/ is where you can sign up to the 5punk xfire clam list. Clam was a typo, but I prefer it to clan. I can never see you because I have my friends list minimised and I use the clan thing.
