A Note
For anyone who's never seen CV before, the quality increases dramatically as the series progress. CV1.1 is pure homebrew whereas CV2.7/2.8 are pretty much professional productions by comparision...
Re: A Note
This, although season 1 still has its merits and is well worth a watch. Longer episodes too from 45mins - 1 hour in some cases.Willard The Unwise wrote:For anyone who's never seen CV before, the quality increases dramatically as the series progress. I made a thread a while ago regarding CV here http://www.5punk.co.uk/phpbb/viewtopic. ... ht=gubbins
Have a look-see if you're still unsure of what it is.

Yeah definately, first thing I thought of actually. Everything from look to the music reminds me of the stuff I've seen in Spore's tide pool phase. Berk, if you find anything Rom Hull and Emu(lator), could you pm me with details?Duke of Ted wrote:
anyone else think that Lack of Love game looks like an early version of Spore or at least one of its influences?
I'm in work you see, else I'd look myself.

Best console EvAR!
It was also about the easist console to crack ever, you could burn a CDR with boot loader and you could then swap disc with any downloaded CD. I miss my little collection.
So, apart from potentially a fortune in VMU batteries, £20 is a good bargain for one, as there are still quite a few games that stand up today. Even with an emulator you'd still need ISOs of CDs, I don't know how available they are these days - got most of mine from when P2P filesharing was quite new, and they were hard to find then.
Edit: had a look on a demon-like place and they're all still there, most with seeders. [one of whom will probably soon be me]
