Right, has anyone been following the hype around the new Nine Inch Nails album, Year Zero?
It's the best marketing campaign (or is it?) i've ever seen, like a huge puzzle which is rather creepy to say the least.

^^ There's an article on it in full. Have a read
The whole thing is kinda cool but wierd in it's self. And all kicked off by a tour t-shirt which had highlighted letters on it, which when put together spelt: Iamtryingtobelieve... Now, check out http://www.Iamtryingtobelieve.com
Then, at a NIN gig in portugal, a usb key was found in the mens toilets. It had the unrealeased single from the upcoming album, called "my violent heart" on it. this soon spread across the net. Leaked by NIN
The first place it turned up at was http://www.echoingthesound.org, and a member found that the little bit of static at the end of the song when put through a spectrogram gave a picture of "The Presence" (cue spooky noises) this was his finding:

Creeps me out no end. Aphex Twin did something like this i belive... But it wasnt relative to a story/puzzle like this.
There has been more found out and more of the puzzle unfolding... Which can be seen here:

Fucking cool, creepy or stupid?
Either way, Trent has definately found a good way to hype a new album :D
