Enemy Mothership down [updated: ISS/LV kill IAC M'ship also]

Outbreak and MC killed Helen [STK Scientific] <INVICTUS>'s Aeon Mothership.

That is definitely a point for BOB/LV/etc.

They are all claiming lag, etc but it was in 6 'dictor bubbles and being bumped by carriers apparently.

Though to be honest I don't even know of STK, are(were) they a big player?

STK Scientific use to be one of the big powers of ASCN, but with the fall of ASCN they lost alot of their alure. With them losing the first mothership ever in-game (omfg, n00bs, have they not heard of smart bombs?!?!) they're officially useless.

Having read a little more I am not entirely sure this can be linked to the Bob/LV vs. RA/D2 war, even though MC have now been forced into the BOB war by AAA, this particular kill belongs to the FATAL war.

Not entirely sure smart bombs would have saved Helen from all that, chances are the bumps and the odd dictor getting through would have still pinned her - that and the NOS-ing. Suppose we'll never know.

Thing was, when nos ships started warping in, she should have blown an SB, killed the bubbles and jumped out.

Still, better losing it to an honest fight than an agro timer.

As a little Addenum to this thread:

apparantly another mothership went down today.
A lone Nyx was hanging around the QRBN gate in C3-0YD. A mixed fleet of Pyrrhus Sicarii (FC Prefect Six) along with assorted ISS pilots and an LV cap ship fleet assembled. A dictor bubbled him up, and a suicide cyno dropped 33 LV cap ships on the grid. The nyx was kept bubbled and bumped, and the end was inevitable.
WTF?!?!?!? can it be super capital killy tiem naow? And ISS involved? what madness is this?

ETA: I wasnt there, but apparently rabbit was, so i may have stolen his thunder....heheehheheheh

ISS & the ex-prax guys warped onto the nyx, dropped a bubble, suicide cyno, fighters etc. 20+ lv dreads jumped in. Nyx went pop. Best rush in eve ever :) :) :excited:

So, IAC are claiming client side lag, and the pilot had the FPS counter running?

The FPS counter is actually know to cause client lag. the ctrl+alt+shift+m one however doesn't.

The first thing I did was went back to station, got out of the rifter that James Lyrus gave me when my rokh got popped, renamed the rifter to "Mother Killar!" and got in my celestis, that rifter is being framed on the mantlepiece.
