PS2 games for the missus

Post by Woo Elephant Yeah »

Right then people, any of you know of recent games on the PS2 that are similar to the Ratchet & Clank series, or Jak & Daxter 1, Spyro The Dragon series?

Basically I'm after a kids/adults 3d platform shoot-em-up type thingy.

Something that's not designed for 5 year olds, but at the same time, easy to pick up and just have fun with.

I was just about to shout out "Ratchet and Clank!".

I'm not really sure. I've been neglecting my PS2 recently.

One word: Ico

Total underrated by the general public, it's a beautiful, expertly constructed 3D platformer. Not recent but still looks good and plays well.

Also this one: http://www.namco.com/games/katamari_damacy/

If only it were available in Europe, hopefully the sequel will be. :(

Just to let you know, I ended up getting Rayman 3 (Platinum Game) and Atari Anthology (Which has every Atari game you can think of).

The Atari Anthology was bought just because the missus loves to play Centipede/Millipede
